Nottingham Forest vs Brentford preview - Duo set to return for Forest

Nottingham Forest could have Kelvin Wilson and Matty Fryatt back in contention when Brentford visit the City Ground.

Both players missed the 3-0 defeat at Huddersfield on Saturday, as the Reds' run without a win was extended to eight Sky Bet Championship matches. Defender Wilson was absent due to a family bereavement, while Fryatt had suffered a slight recurrence of the groin problem that has troubled the striker recently.

It is hoped Fryatt will train on Tuesday with a view to him being back in the squad the following evening against the Bees.

Skipper Michael Mancienne should be fit to play, despite finishing the game at Huddersfield limping.

Brentford full-back Alan McCormack remains a doubt with the ankle injury which forced him to miss Saturday's 2-1 win over Derby.

Winger Moses Odubajo is set to fill in at right-back again if McCormack is ruled out once more.

Midfielder Stuart Dallas marked his return from a thigh injury by coming off the bench to score the winner against the Rams, and he could have forced his way back into the starting line-up.

Sam Saunders was also among the substitutes at the weekend after 10 months out with a knee problem so Scott Hogan is the only long-term absentee with a cruciate injury.
