Stenhousemuir vs Peterhead preview - Hodge boost for Stenny

Stenhousemuir welcome midfielder Bryan Hodge back to their squad after a shoulder problem for the home game against Peterhead.

But midfielder Sean Dickson is out with a groin injury and striker Martin Grehan is a doubt as the Warriors are looking to build on last Saturday's 4-0 win at Stirling.

Assistant manager Brown Ferguson said: "That was a terrific win and everyone was delighted with the professional manner in which the players went about their business.

"We have taken a lift from that and will look to build on it against a Peterhead side that have picked up decent results recently despite missing a few players."

Peterhead have Steven Noble, Jordan Brown, Jamie Redman and Andy Rodgers available after suspension.

But they will still be without the injured Dean Cowie (knee), Bryan Gilfillan (groin), Ryan McCann (ankle) and Fraser McLaren (hamstring), while Ross Smith is expected to play despite carrying a knock.

Manager Jim McInally said: "We have picked up four points from six despite having a very stretched squad and the players deserve great credit for that.

"We have better numbers, however that does not mean that there will be many changes at Stenhousemuir.

"They will have enjoyed their win last weekend, but it is our job to make sure they don't enjoy this weekend."
