Chesterfield goalkeeper Tommy Lee was on top form as the home side hit back in an entertaining 1-1 draw with Oldham.
Jonathan Forte fired Oldham in front from the penalty spot early in the second half, but Sam Clucas scored a superb volley to earn Chesterfield a deserved point.
The game was open from the start with keeper Lee saving from Carl Winchester and Forte either side of Ian Evatt heading just wide for Chesterfield.
Lee saved from Dominic Poleon before Oldham keeper Paul Rachubka parried a stringing drive from Jimmy Ryan.
But Oldham broke through in the 49th minute when Georg Margreitter clipped Daniel Philliskirk inside the box and Forte scored from the spot.
Chesterfield hit back in the 57th minute when Clucas controlled Roberts' pass before volleying past Rachubka from 15 yards.
Lee made another great save to deny Oldham substitute Jabo Ibehre in the 75th minute and foiled Forte in stoppage time as Oldham pressed for winner.
