Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is preparing to sell Juan Mata to Juventus in January, according to the Express.
The Dutch coach isn't overly keen on Mata and doesn’t see him as a starter at Old Trafford with Wayne Rooney occupying the Spaniard's preferred position.
With United still targeting Arturo Vidal, Juventus are predicted to register a bid of as little as £20 million. This is less than a year after a British record fee of £37.1 million was forked out to Chelsea for Mata.
Valencia are also said to be targeting Mata. They are a team on the up and believe they could tempt their old boy back to Spain.
