Tranmere Rovers 0 : 1 Plymouth Argyle - Reid heaps misery on Tranmere

Plymouth striker Reuben Reid netted the only goal of the game to inflict further misery on Tranmere as a 1-0 defeat extended Rovers' run of league matches without a win to seven.
Reid powered a header home just before the half-hour mark to settle to contest and ensure Rovers' search for a first league victory since the end of August continues.
The visitors wasted no time in asserting their authority as Lewis Alessandra forced a smart stop from Peter Brezovan while at the other end George Donnelly couldn't trouble Luke McCormick.
The pressure told in the 29th minute when Anthony O'Connor picked out Reid from the right - the striker heading past the helpless Brezovan.
Rovers seemed rejuvenated after the break and it nearly bore fruit in the 66th minute as George Barker met Janoi Donacien's swerving cross but could not beat McCormick.
Plymouth could have sealed the points in the closing stages but a superb double save from the sprawling Brezovan kept out Reid and Deane Smalley from close range.
