Real Madrid are set to make a bid for Chelsea midfielder Ramires in the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.
Carlo Ancelotti is keen to bring the Brazilian international to the Bernabeu but the Spanish giants would have to offer up to £30m for his signature, the Italian website Tuttomercatoweb is reporting.
Ramires, 27, has figured only three times in the Premier League season with Blues boss Jose Mourinho preferring Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic and Willian in central areas across the midfield.
The talented midfielder signed a new five-year deal at the Premier League leaders two years ago to tie him at Stamford Bridge until 2017 but Madrid are expected to step up their efforts to land their man next year.
Ancelotti has stated recently he is keen to strengthen at the heart of his midfield and provide support for Toni Kroos and playmaker Luka Modric.
