Carlo Ancelotti claimed he is happy with Colombian James Rodriguez's performances and added that he cannot ask the same from him as he did from Di Maria in defensive duties because "they are different players".
"James is not Di Maria. He is a different player with different qualities. For that reason I'm going to use him, not because I expect the same from him as I did from Di Maria. Both players have different technical characteristics. I'm happy with him and he is focused on the job he has to do. He's doing well and will get better", he said.
Speaking at a press conference, the Italian manager confirmed that James will start after being rested in Sofia against Ludogorets in the Champions League.
