ROY HODGSON is expected today to ignore calls to promote West Brom's whizkid striker Saido Berahino to his England senior squad.

The Burundi-born star has bagged five goals for the Baggies this season, but is likely to stay with Gareth Southgate's under-21s.

Hodgson's England face San Marino at Wembley on Thursday then play in Estonia three days later, both games in Euro 2016 Group E qualifiers.

Starsport revealed earlier this week Swansea winger Wayne Routledge could be a new name in the Hodgson's squad announced today.
