Athletic Bilbao 0 : 0 Eibar - Bilbao and Eibar draw a blank

Athletic Bilbao's disappointing start to the new La Liga season continued as they were held to a goalless draw at home by Eibar.
Indeed, the hosts could count themselves lucky to come away with a point, with Ander Capa's shot which came back off the bar for Eibar the closest either side came to a goal.
Bilbao, who finished fourth last season, have won only one of their opening six league games this term and, while this draw at least halted a run of three straight losses, it still left them struggling near the foot of the table.
Eibar in contrast, have started life in the top flight in an assured fashion to lie eighth.
A game short on quality and chances offered little in the way of entertainment.
Saul shot over the top for the visitors after 16 minutes, with Aymeric Laporte firing wide at the other end.
Laporte then headed wide from a Markel Susaeta cross.
Borja Viguera had a chance to put Bilbao ahead five minutes into the second half, but his header from the right side of the six-yard box went over.
The hosts continued to press, but Aritz Aduriz saw his shot tipped over by Xabier Irureta.
And Bilbao had a let-off in the 62nd minute when Capa's shot from the right side of the area came back off the bar.
Neither side could find a winner as the spoils were shared.
