Walsall vs Doncaster Rovers preview - Duo back in the saddle

Walsall boss Dean Smith has received a major boost with the return of top scorer Tom Bradshaw and James Chambers for his side's League One clash with Doncaster.

Striker Bradshaw has missed the last two games with a tight hamstring, while defender Chambers has been sidelined for four matches with a similar problem.

Captain Adam Chambers came through last week's goalless draw at Gillingham after recovering from a niggling ankle complaint, having returned earlier than expected.

Ben Purkiss played 45 minutes in the reserves on Wednesday following his recovery from an ankle complaint and Jordan Cook (also ankle) has resumed full training, but Sam Mantom remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Doncaster will be without Nathan Tyson.

Tyson was forced off with a head injury late on in the Capital One Cup defeat at Fulham in midweek and new guidelines on concussion mean the forward will have to sit it out at the Banks's Stadium.

Harry Forrester impressed from the bench against the Cottagers on his return from suspension and he is an option to replace Tyson, as is Theo Robinson.

Curtis Main (knee) is back in training but the striker will not be rushed back, while centre-half Rob Jones' knee problem is not as bad as initially feared but the trip to the West Midlands could come too soon for the Rovers skipper.
