Northampton Town vs Accrington Stanley preview - New boss Coleman missing Gray

Accrington will be without James Gray through suspension as John Coleman starts his second spell in charge of the club at Northampton.

The 22-year-old midfielder has impressed this season with five goals in nine games, but blotted his copybook when shown a straight red card for kicking out at Johnny Mullins in the first half of Tuesday's 3-1 loss at Oxford.

Stanley are also set to be without Adam Buxton as he recovers from the concussion, which forced him to miss the second period of that midweek defeat.

Coleman, 51, led the club from 1999 until 2012, taking them all the way up from the Northern Premier League First Division into the Football League.

Northampton could be unchanged after their 5-1 thumping of Hartlepool.

The Cobblers are chasing a third consecutive home victory, which could see last season's strugglers move into the Sky Bet League Two automatic promotion spots.

Boss Chris Hackett told the club's official website: "We want to put teams under pressure here and go for the jugular. Our home form is really important and we want to be positive.

"We have got players here that excite."
