CHELSEA want Jose Mourinho to stay in charge for the next 10 years.
WHAT A DECADE: Ron Gourlay wants Mourinho to stay at Chelsea for the next 10 years
Blues chief executive Ron Gourlay wants the Special One to stay well beyond the four-year deal he signed last summer.
Gourlay said: "I hope he will stay 10 years. Having the security of Jose is great for me - he knows the club, knows me.
"Jose can deal with the media in a different way from some of the other managers we've had.
"He takes the pressure not only away from the players but also from the club. He allows us to manage and me in particular to drive the club forward.
"Now you've got a team whose age averages 24 years and is built for the next 10 years."
Chelsea kick off their Champions League campaign at home to Schalke tonight.
And Mourinho has dug out rival bosses like Arsenal's Arsene Wenger who have failed to win Europe's top club competition.
Wenger has yet to lift the trophy, whereas Mourinho has landed it twice with Porto and Inter Milan.
While he insists it's "far from being an obsession," he added: "The tournament is part of my history. I am part of the tournament's history.
"It's simple. If I win it once more, to win with three clubs is unique.
"Even if I don't do it, how many top managers in the world have only one or even not a single one?"
