Sheffield United vs Rochdale preview - Scougall still missing for Blades

Sheffield United will be without midfielder Stefan Scougall for their home game against Rochdale.

Scougall has missed the last four games due to a knee injury and is hoping to feature for the Under-21s next week.

Defender Craig Alcock has shaken off the muscular problem that forced him to miss the draw at Preston before the international break and midfielder James Wallace is pushing for his first start for the club following his groin problem.

Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce is hoping to keep his place in the starting line-up, but Ryan Flynn and Marc McNulty are also in contention.

Rochdale skipper Ollie Lancashire is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.

The centre-half missed five games due to a groin injury before returning to the bench as an unused substitute in last week's win at Crawley and could feature at Bramall Lane.

Manager Keith Hill has no new injury or suspension problems and will select his line-up from an unchanged squad as Dale look to secure their first-ever win against the Blades.

Recent signing Shamir Fenelon made his third appearance for Dale off the bench at Crawley and may have to wait a while longer for his first league start.
