Barnsley vs Milton Keynes Dons preview - Duo back for Barnsley

Posted Friday, September 12, 2014 by PA

Barnsley will be boosted by the return to contention of summer signings James Bailey and Keith Treacy for the home game against MK Dons.

Midfielder Bailey has missed the last three games due to a hamstring injury, while Treacy has overcome a groin problem that sidelined him for two matches.

Manager Danny Wilson has no new injury or suspension worries, while teenage defender George Smith is making good progress as he recovers from a fractured toe.

The Reds are chasing a third straight home win as they look to keep pace at the top-end of the table.

The Dons will be without Kyle McFadzean after he was sent off during the 2-0 home win over Crawley. The defender will serve a one-match suspension at the weekend.

Lee Hodson has missed the last three matches through injury but MK boss Karl Robinson hopes the full-back, and one or two other players with niggles, could be back for the trip to South Yorkshire. Ben Reeves (hamstring), Danny Green (hamstring) and Darren Potter (groin) are all doubts.

Will Grigg and Dele Alli have both returned unscathed from international duty, having been involved in games for Northern Ireland and England Under-19s respectively.
