Swindon look set to be without a four key players for the clash with Coventry.

Captain Nathan Thompson will serve a one-match ban for his late red card in Tuesday's Capital One Cup defeat to Brighton and he will likely be joined on the sidelines by Ben Gladwin, Michael Smith and George Barker.

The trio all picked up injuries during the match with Gladwin confirming on Twitter that he has torn ankle ligaments and looks set for a spell on the sidelines.

Winger Tijane Reis has left the club while Ryan Harley and Darren Ward remain out of favour and will not be considered for selection once again.

Aaron Phillips could replace the ill Jordan Clarke at right-back for Coventry with Clarke not expected to recover from his sickness bug.

Danny Pugh is making good progress from his ankle injury but the County Ground clash will come too soon.

Simeon Jackson is available but he will miss next week's trip to Wycombe and Friday's Ricoh homecoming with former club Gillingham after being called up by Canada.

Former loanee Nathan Eccleston is training with the Sky Blues to keep fit while he finds another club and is not registered but boss Steven Pressley is after a new striker has been linked with Swindon's Michael Smith.
