Sheffield Wednesday vs Nottingham Forest preview - Hutchinson in fitness fight

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Sam Hutchinson faces another fitness test ahead of the visit of Nottingham Forest.

Hutchinson has missed the last two games with a back problem and manager Stuart Gray remains cautious as to his chances of returning on Saturday.

Fellow midfielder Kieran Lee will play no part as he is still struggling with a groin injury, but skipper Glenn Loovens and goalkeeper Keiren Westwood are expected to return after sitting out the midweek Capital One Cup win at Burnley.

Defender Lewis Buxton is still working his way back from a knee injury while striker Caolan Lavery is recovering from knee surgery.

Forest boss Stuart Pearce will make changes.

Pearce swapped seven players for the midweek Capital One Cup clash against Huddersfield with senior figures such as Chris Burke, Matty Fryatt and Britt Assombalonga starting on the bench, while midfielders Andy Reid and Chris Cohen were rested completely and not even in the squad.

Henri Lansbury and Jamaal Lascelles made their return from knee injuries on Tuesday night, while German midfielder Robert Tesche was handed his debut for the Reds and Dutch striker Lars Veldwijk made his first start.

David Vaughan (hamstring) and Kelvin Wilson (calf) both played 90 minutes for Forest's development squad this week as they continued to step up their recovery from injury.
