Huddersfield caretaker manager Mark Lillis has a fairly lengthy injury list to contend with as he continues in charge for the clash with Championship high-flyers Charlton at the John Smith's Stadium.

Captain Lee Peltier is struggling with a groin injury while Anthony Gerrard (calf), James Vaughan (calf), Oscar Gobern (toe), Martin Paterson (knee), Danny Ward (back) and Joe Lolley (hip) are also receiving treatment.

Lillis was told he will still be at the helm this weekend following Tuesday's 2-1 win at Reading and he intends to enjoy the occasion, with the Terriers celebrating the 20th anniversary of their stadium being built.

"It will be special as it's a home game," Lillis told the club's website. "Seeing all the supporters walking to the ground on my way in will get the adrenaline going and coming down the tunnel will be great. We'll get the players putting a shift in, going into tackles and playing good football and I know our fans will get behind that."

George Tucudean needs a fitness check for unbeaten Charlton.

The Romanian striker scored the opener and won a penalty in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Derby but had to go off at half time due to a knee injury.

Goalkeeper Stephen Henderson is also being monitored having missed out in midweek with a hamstring problem, with youngster Nick Pope standing by to deputise again despite his mistake for Derby's second goal.

Chris Solly could return at right-back after resting his troublesome knee against the Rams.
