Messi and Luis Suarez were the two most applauded players in Barca's presentation before the 49th edition of the Joan Gamper trophy got underway, with Mexican club León present as the invited team to play against.
Neymar got the first big round of applause, but the loudest was saved for Luis Suarez, who ran on just after Claudio Bravo. Ter Stegen, Mathieu, Vermaelen, Rakitic, Rafinha and Masip also made a show as Barca's new faces for the next season.
Finaly, Busquets, Messi (the most applauded), Iniesta and Xavi, the four team captains. "We will give it our all, we will sweat blood out there to earn some titles at the end of the season", vowed Xavi, who was the first to speak.
After the captain, Luis Enrique also addressed the Cule faithful. "This group of players is a unique one. I can assure you that they behave impeccably", assured the manager, who then asked for the fans' support when things got tough for them.
