Sheffield Wed. vs Millwall preview - Lee blow for Owls

Sheffield Wednesday will be without Kieran Lee for Tuesday's Championship clash with Millwall at Hillsborough after the midfielder picked up a groin injury in Saturday's goalless draw with Derby.

However, Stevie May came through his debut in that match after joining from St Johnstone and Stuart Gray revealed he may bring in a few more fresh legs after a hectic start to the season.

"I have players chomping at the bit to come into the side and there may be one or two changes," said the Owls boss. "I'm pleased with our start but I won't allow any complacency to creep in.

"We have an upbeat camp and a buoyant camp who are enjoying their football. The boys are working hard for each other and are full of confidence, but we will be tested against a strong Millwall side."

Matthew Briggs returns to the Millwall squad after suspension.

The full-back missed Saturday's 1-0 win against his former club Fulham after receiving a red card in last week's Capital One Cup victory over Wycombe.

Nicky Bailey could make his first start of the season after recovering from a calf injury in time to return as a substitute at Craven Cottage.

Fellow midfielders Richard Chaplow and Ed Upson are still recovering from hamstring injuries, as is full-back Justin Hoyte.
