CR7 firing on all cylinders

Few conclusions can be drawn from Real Madrid's friendly loss to Fiorentina, except perhaps that Cristiano Ronaldo is once again in great form. The Portuguese star has started the season with goals and in Warsaw he repeated the performance he produced in the UEFA Super Cup final victory over Sevilla in Cardiff.
By grabbing his side's only goal at the spectacular Narodowy stadium after beginning with a double against Sevilla he has now hit three strikes in his first two games of the season.
Carlo Ancelotti may be able to boast an amazing attack but all the goals so far have come from Ronaldo and yesterday's came just after the game had begun. They all count for Cristiano who celebrated it in great style but more importantly from his point of view will be the form he is in and that the knee he had so many problems with towards the end of last season is not troubling him at all.
All has gone well since he reported back to training with his teammates and it seems his injury worries are a thing of the past. For Cristiano that will be a relief and will have helped him to get the campaign off to such a flying start. ''Without pain everything is much easier,'' CR7 said with a smile afterwards.
