Álvaro Morata will be playing in the black and white of Juventus next season. Morata's agent, Juanma López, was at the Santiago Bernabéu offices on Friday morning to put the finishing touches to the player's move away from the club. The Italian club officialy announced the deal later at midnight.
Real Madrid will receive €18m for the academy graduate, making him the club's most profitable home-grown player ever. If Real Madrid want to re-sign the striker in the future, they will have to pay Juventus a fee somewhere between €30m and €36m.
Morata's move stalled temporarily when Antonio Conte quit last Tuesday. However, a call from Massimiliano Allegri, Juve's new boss, put the player's mind at ease, and he is now set to join up in Turin with another Spaniard, Fernando Llorente, with whom he will compete for a starting place up front for the Serie A champions.
Álvaro Morata could travel to Turin this very Friday to complete his move to the Italian side.
