Tragic 15 year old Nepalese schoolgirl kills herself after favourite team Brazil are thrashed

A 15 year old schoolgirl has committed suicide after her favourite team Brazil were thrashed in the World Cup semi-final by Germany.
In an article by Ghana SoccerNet, it says that the girl had been depressed and hung herself shortly after chatting with friends about the game the night before.
An extract from the story: 'She was anxious to see Brazil in the final, but it went down to Germany,' Sharad Thapa, a Nepal police inspector said of the preliminary investigation.
'Some of her friends started teasing her for supporting Brazil. Later in the morning, she took an extreme measure by hanging herself in her own room.'
Identified as Pragya Thapa, she lived 250 miles east of Kathmandu.
