Kroos, bitter Pils for Bayern

Toni Kroos has become a bitter pill for Bayern. The German team are already beginning to regret the German player's exit. A series of bad decisions have ended up with the player reaching an agreement with Real Madrid, and when Bayern wanted to react it was already too late.
At just 24 years of age, and after eight years with Munich, Kroos leaves the team he joined when he was just reaching maturity, ready to give them his best years in football. A disastrous deal for Bayern, despite the fact they'll receive 25 million euros for a player in the last year of his contract, which usually means a significant reduction in transfer fees.
Looking forward, Guardiola picks Thiago ahead of Kroos, but that doesn't mean he's happy with the departure of a player who last season played 49 matches, 29 in the Bundesliga and 12 in the Champions League.
To begin with, Bayern made a low offer to Kroos, which made him feel disappointed that the club had not rewarded his performances with a higher salary, especially when compared to teammates who had played less than him. When the German directors wanted to react, it was already too late. The agreement with Real was far too down the line to be scuppered.
