Bacary Sagna: Approaching the end of his contract at Arsenal
Bacary Sagna has told French television that he has no deal with Manchester City, but that he will make a decision on his future before the World Cup.
The Arsenal defender is approaching the end of his contract at Emirates Stadium and has been unable to agree an extension.
That means he will soon be dropping into the free-agent pool and be in a position to make a call on what his next career move will be.
It has been reported for some time that Premier League champions City are leading the chase for his signature.
Speculation has suggested that an agreement has already been reached, with Sagna ready to put pen to paper.
The 31-year-old has refuted those rumours by insisting that no switch has been put in place, but he has revealed that he will not allow the issue of his future to drag on into the summer.
Sagna told Telefoot: "Have I already signed a contract with Manchester City? No, that is not true."
"My situation will be sorted out before the World Cup, but I haven't signed for anyone so far."
"We all have our own destiny and I will try to find mine."
