Courtois: "We just needed one or two minutes more"

Thibaut Courtois was deeply sorry for the bad luck that his team suffered this evening by having their archrivals Real Madrid draw the game in extra time.
"We just needed one or two minutes more", reflected the Belgian goalkeeper, whose future lies in the hands of Mourinho's Chelsea - tonight's game might well have been his last wearing the rojiblanco shirt. In his opinion, the goal headed in by Sergio Ramos in the 93rd minute "was a shame".
Courtois felt that Real's goal "in the last moment" of the game was something his team could not overcome, and was the key to seeing their rivals then put three more in the back of the net in the last minutes of the game.
