Clyde 1 : 0 East Fife - Ferguson gives Clyde advantage
Posted Thursday, May 08, 2014 by PA
Scott Ferguson scored the only goal of the game to put Clyde in the box seat of the Scottish League One play-off semi-final first leg against East Fife.
John Sweeney had already hit the post for the home side by the time that Ferguson took advantage of a defensive lapse to tap in seven minutes before the break.
East Fife improved after the break and Jamie Barclay produced a good save to deny Marc McKenzie before Steven Campbell and Stephen Hughes shot off target.
But their best chance came at the death when Craig Johnstone's shot from inside the area was palmed away by Barclay as Clyde held on for the advantage.
