Sampdoria vs Livorno preview - Di Carlo warns Sampdoria

Livorno coach Domenico Di Carlo has warned Sampdoria that his side are fired up for Sunday's game in Genoa.
The Amaranto held third-placed Napoli to a 1-1 draw in Leghorn last weekend. The outcome lifted Livorno to 18th place, level on 21 points with Chievo, who hold the last position of safety.
Di Carlo is determined for his team to pick up where they left off against Napoli.
"It was an important result," Di Carlo said. "Not only for the morale of the team but for the standings.
"We have to play our next games as we have done against Napoli.
"If we show the same hunger and determination that we displayed last weekend, then we can do well against anyone."
Di Carlo will have all of his players available with the exception of injured midfielder Andrea Luci.
Rivals Sampdoria also go into the encounter at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in buoyant mood having won 2-0 at Torino in the last round.
The result in Turin allowed Samp to bounce back from defeats to Roma and AC Milan and climb to 12th place, 10 points clear of Livorno.
"We really wanted the three points at all costs," Samp striker Manolo Gabbiadini said. "We are really happy to have returned to winning ways at Torino.
"I think if we continue on this path, we can soon achieve our aim which is to defend our Serie A status."
A win on Sunday would be a major boost for Samp in their battle to avoid the drop.
The Blucerchiati, coached by Sinisa Mihajlovic, have collected 31 points so far.
Traditionally 40 points is the magic number that teams aim for at the start of the season.
Samp will be at full strength with defenders Angelo Palombo and Andrea Costa as well as striker Maxi Lopez returning from suspension.
