Ashley Cole hopes ex-wife Cheryl surprises him on his birthday

Ashley Cole celebrates his 33rd birthday tomorrow and the Chelsea defender admits he hopes ex-wife Cheryl is hiding in one of his gift boxes ready to jump out and surprise him.
The pair separated in 2010 following a four-year marriage with both having had relationships since.
But Ashley, responding to goading on Twitter, said: ‘Maybe she could be the big box I have at my house, lol just going to jump out.’

The comment actually received fairly positive replies from his Twitter followers, many describing Cole’s message as ‘cute’.
But with the England international reportedly dating ‘adult model’ Roxanne Jeffers and Cheryl getting over a recently-ended relationship with dancer Tre Holloway, it looks as though this particular birthday present is unlikely to materialise.
