Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he wants his Chelsea future resolved before next summer's World Cup.
The Belgium international is currently in his third consecutive season on loan at Atletico Madrid, with whom he has underlined his reputation as one of the finest young goalkeepers in the game.
However, Courtois, who penned a five-year deal with the Blues when he joined from Genk in 2009, is keen to know sooner rather than later whether Jose Mourinho has any intention of recalling him from his stint at the Vicente Calderon and making him the No.1 at Stamford Bridge.
"I don't know where I will be playing next season," the 21-year-old told Sporza. "In a short time, I will discuss my future with Chelsea and I want to know their plans.
"After those discussions, I will decide what will be the best option for me. I don't want to wait too long, it's not good to begin a World Cup while you're thinking about transfers. I don't want to wait until May or June.
"I'm not worried at his moment and I hope I won't be worried at all the next months."
Courtois has previously been linked with a move to Liga champion Barcelona.
