The hosts dominated the opening stages of the second half and they took the lead in the 68th minute when Christopher Templeman steered the ball past Paterson from the middle of the area.
The Sky Blues doubled their lead with 10 minutes to go when Ross Campbell got on the end of Iain Campbell's cross to head in from close range.
