Millwall have handed a short-term deal to former Leeds and Derby defender Paul Connolly.
The 29-year-old, a free agent after he was released by Leeds over the summer, has been training with Steve Lomas' squad this week.
Connolly has impressed enough to be handed a contract until January and could make his Lions debut against the Rams on Saturday with regular right-back Alan Dunne suspended.
Lomas on Thursday also brought in Leicester striker Martyn Waghorn on loan to take his total signings to 10 since taking over in the summer.
