Martino: "We've helped Neymar, not harmed him"

Gerardo Martino again talked about Neymar in the run-up to the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Atlético. "I'm also eager to see Neymar, but it's my responsibility to take care of every player. Neymar is a young lad, even though he's achieved so much," he said.
"My plan is for Neymar to be a Barcelona player for the next 10 or 12 years, not for him to resolve my problems during two games. I only think about the good of the player and I think that we've helped him, not harmed him. If you ask the player, he was ready for the game against Levante," he explained.
Martino did not reveal whether Neymar would start against Atlético. "I'm sure that he is still ready. I'll make my decision tomorrow and you'll hear it when the match kicks off."
