Chelsea's David Luiz believes compatriot Paulinho will be a Premier League success, should the midfielder complete his move to Tottenham.
The duo could be part of a Brazil team crowned Confederations Cup winners at the Maracana on Sunday, should Luiz Felipe Scolari's men beat World Cup holders Spain in the finals.
Speaking to FIFA.com, Luiz was confident that a summer transfer to the Premier League for Paulinho would be a good deal for all involved.
"If he gets to play in England, he will definitely go far, his game fits perfectly with the pace of English football," he pointed out.
"It’s incredibly valuable to have someone like that in your side."
Paulinho recently revealed that he has received an offer from Tottenham and admitted he was eager to apply his all-action style to good use for the team.
"It really is one of my qualities, moving into different areas of the field, picking up opponents as well as helping to attack," Paulinho elaborated.
"I try to help in every possible way and I’ll try to keep on doing that, both for my club and the national side, because that's how I've always had success."
