Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has revealed he is looking forward to working under incoming coach Pep Guardiola.
Ex-Barcelona boss Guardiola was announced as the successor to Jupp Heynckes at the Allianz back in January, and will take charge of his first training session on Wednesday.
Although he is regarded as one of the best coaches in world football following his success-laden spell at the Nou Camp, the 42-year-old will be under pressure to deliver immediate success given his predecessor's final season saw Bayern win the treble of the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Champions League.
Nonetheless, Neuer believes their fine campaign last term will help them get off to a bright start to life under Guardiola.
"I think this is another new experience for many of us," he told Bild. "To work under a foreign coach.
"It is a new start, I'm looking forward to Wednesday.
"We have previously gone into the break after negative experiences, [so] this time it was a good feeling to start the holidays with the treble."
During his four seasons in charge of Barca, Guardiola won La Liga three times, as well as the Copa del Rey and Champions League twice.
