Sammer: Klopp can say what he wants

Bayern Munich sporting director Matthias Sammer has played down Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp's claims that his side is like 'villains from James Bond films'.
The two clubs have shared a fierce rivalry in recent years and face each other in Saturday's Champions League final.
Klopp, unhappy with the way that Bayern conducted the signing of Mario Gotze from the club, has been publicly critical of the Bavarian side, but Sammer says he is entitled to his opinions.
"We have freedom of speech in Germany," he told TZ. "When Jurgen Klopp thinks they have to send out pictures to the world, then he has to answer for that. But we do not always feel [the need] to address that."
Klopp had previously "bet his backside" that Bayern would enlist the help of Pep Guardiola in the Champions League semifinal against Barcelona and Sammer joked that he was eager for the 45-year-old to pay up.
"He bet his rump, but where is it?" he asked. "We have not spoken to Pep about Barcelona, even indirectly. Where is it then?"
Sammer also said that he was confident of victory at Wembley - if his side performs to the best of its abilities.
"If we reach our top level, then there can be no other winner but us," he continued. "The quality and the spirit of the team mean that they will eventually bring home the title."
Sammer represented Borussia Dortmund as a player, winning the Champions League with the Ruhr outfit in 1997.
