"We have to start strong because we're the best team in the world"

Cristiano Ronaldo gave his thoughts on the cup final against Atlético for 'Realmadrid TV'. "We have to make a good, strong start, the way this club, the best in the world, really plays. Just because the Bernabéu is split in half isn't going to crush our ambition to win this cup," he said.
The Portuguese striker explained what is needed. "We're ready and determined to win this title. On Friday, I hope that the team bus gets a reception similar to the one we got against Borussia Dortmund," he remarked.
Far from playing down the importance of this tournament, Real Madrid's star striker underscored the determination to win this trophy again. "It's a trophy which really fires us up and we want to win it. We know that it will be a tightly contested game against a rival from the same city and it will be a great spectacle. We hope Real Madrid can win it."
