KEEN TO STAY ... Chris Coleman
CHRIS COLEMAN has hinted he is ready to commit his future to Wales — and attempt to lead them into Euro 2016.
The former Fulham coach indicated in midweek he would spend the summer weighing up his options after revealing he misses club football.
However, he admits he is tempted to continue beyond his current deal, which ends after the World Cup qualifiers.
Coleman said: “We have a lot of good, young players coming through and, when you see them develop, you get excited.
“You only manage your country once. If I wasn’t the manager and someone else came in and you’d see these young boys flying — I’d be very disappointed.”
Reaching the Euros — and qualifying for a first major tournament since 1958 — should be within Wales’ grasp as it will be a 24-team tournament.
Coleman also knows he has the backing of his players, after skipper Ashley Williams voiced his support on several occasions over the past couple of weeks.
