Frank Lampard future will be resolved after talks with Roy Hodgson.

The England midfielder has a long-standing offer to join LA Galaxy when his contract with Chelsea finishes at the end of the season.

But the England manager has urged Lampard to stay in Europe if he wants to be part of his World Cup squad in 2014.

On his way? Frank Lampard will discuss his future with England manager Roy Hodgson

Lampard, who has been told by Chelsea that he will be offered a new deal, said:
'I’m aware of what Roy said, but it would be something we would have a conversation about.

'First and foremost I have to make the right decision for myself before anyone else. But I’d respect his opinion.

'If there’s a time, whenever that is, where there’s an option of going outside
Europe, I’m sure me and Roy will have a conversation.'

Manchester United have already put down a marker and Arsenal have also registered a tentative interest if 34-year-old Lampard decides to leave Chelsea.

LA Galaxy have been putting pressure on him to make a decision, but the
midfielder is determined to examine all his options before making a commitment.

Lampard, who has won 94 caps, insists he still has the appetite for international football and wants to reach a century of appearances.

He added: 'I’m available for England now and in the future. I want to do my best and put myself in the squad and that won’t change wherever I’m playing.

'I don’t think the option of America rules out anything, but I haven’t had the conversation with the manager yet.

'I've seen players get picked when they’re playing all over the world. I will always try and give my all for England. As I’ve got older I’ve appreciated playing for my country more.

Guidance: England manager Hodgson is keen for Lampard to stay in Europe to boost his international hopes

'I watched Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole deservedly reach 100 caps and it’s a fantastic achievement.

'I grew up on tales of Bobby Moore from my dad and he’s the ultimate England player. If I can get to 100 I will be very proud and it makes my family proud.'

Lampard’s chances of adding to his caps improved when Jack Wilshere, who started against Brazil last month, was ruled out with another ankle injury.
