GOING NOWHERE ... Crouch won't jet off, says Pulis
STOKE boss Tony Pulis has warned QPR chief Harry Redknapp: “Don’t try to pinch Peter Crouch at the last minute — it simply won’t work!”
Potters striker Crouch grabbed his first goal since September in Stoke’s home draw against Wigan, after which Pulis confirmed: “Harry has been in touch.
“He’s interested in taking Peter to QPR but it ain’t going to happen unless any deal is right for both Peter and us.
“Peter is happy here and we are under absolutely no financial pressure to bring in money.
“I would need a ready replacement for Peter if he leaves us before the deadline.
“Thirty minutes before it closes is no use to me — and it definitely wouldn’t happen under those circumstances.”
