Harry: We’ll make history

HARRY REDKNAPP has ordered his QPR squad to rewrite history.
Redknapp told his new players they must stay up despite having the worst Premier League return after 13 games — just four points.
He said: “I had a chat with the boys. I told them we have got a big fight on our hands, that we have got to pull together but that they are really the only ones who can get us out of this mess.
“This is the lowest points from 13 games in the history of the Premier League. But the players do not look like they’re struggling for confidence.”
Redknapp’s main task on his first day in charge was to restore self-belief in the dressing room after the crushing 3-1 loss at Manchester United.
QPR play at Sunderland tomorrow with Redknapp desperate to get off to a decent start.
David Beckham, who is quitting LA Galaxy, has been linked with a move to Loftus Road.
Redknapp said: “It could give the lads a boost having him around. But there’s talk of him going to Paris St Germain and other top, top clubs.”
Redknapp also took a swipe at Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, insisting he never wanted to sell Adel Taarabt.
The Moroccan did not start a single Prem game in his three years at the Lane before was sold to QPR for a cut-price £1million in 2010.
And he said: “I never wanted to sell him. He wasn’t playing and the chairman felt it was a good time to let him go.”
