Barzagli fears Milito threat

Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli believes Inter Milan striker Diego Milito will pose the biggest threat to the Bianconeri when their two sides clash on Saturday.

The Nerazzurri, currently second in the table on 24 points, will make the trip down to the Juventus Stadium in the hopes of closing the gap at the top of the table to one point by inflicting a first defeat on current league leaders Juventus.

Milito will be expected to lead the line for Inter on Saturday, and according to Barzagli, the Bianconeri will have to find a way to contain the 33-year-old forward if they are to get anything from the game.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Barzagli declared: "I am afraid of Diego Milito.

"He is a complete striker - one of the strongest in Europe. He does not miss a thing.

"Inter are a worthy threat. Andrea Stramaccioni is a good Coach, and I think it's right that a young Coach with good ideas is getting a chance."

Despite many already considering this game as one which could have a huge impact in the fight for the Serie A title, Barzagli claims that this game will be just like any other game and refused to attach any added significance to the fixture.

"I don't think the match can be considered a crucial one at this stage of the season," the 31-year-old centre-back added.

"The Nerazzurri can definitely challenge for the title, but we are a group that believes in itself.

"We always try to keep our feet on the ground and for a lot of us it has been a tough start, what with the Champions League as well.

"Saying that, I hope that we can go on and dominate."

Milito was on target for Inter in the past two Serie A games and the Argentina international has already scored seven goals for the Nerazzurri this season.
