Stranraer will give Russell Cadwell his first start in goal when struggling East Fife visit.

The youngster will get his chance as regular number one David Mitchell is suspended following his dismissal against Alloa last Saturday.

Defender David MacGregor continues to be absent with a knee injury and striker Michael Moore is also out after his Achilles problem flared up.

The Blues are undefeated at home in the league this season and manager Keith Knox is determined that continues against the Fifers.

He said: "They are a very decent side going forward but if we show the same attitude we have adopted in our previous home games then it will be hard for them to take anything from here.

"This is a big game and one we are determined to do well in."

Bottom-of-the-table East Fife have problems ahead of the trip.

Goalkeeper Michael Brown is missing for a second week running with a calf problem so Andrew Collier will deputise once more.

Defenders David White and Andrew Cook are also out injured, with assistant manager Gordon Chisholm again in charge of the side in the continued absence of ill boss Gordon Durie.

Chisholm said: "We have a lot of ability in our squad but we need to cut out the errors we have been making.

"We seem to be getting punished every time we make a mistake so if we stop making mistakes then things will get better.

"A win at Stranraer could kick-start our season and that is our aim."
