Oltra expects tough clash

Jose Luis Oltra believes it will be a case of who blinks first as two of the Primera Division's unbeaten sides go head to head on Monday night.

Oltra's Deportivo have impressed on their return to the top flight, claiming three draws and a win, with opponents Sevilla also unbeaten and fresh from an impressive victory over struggling Real Madrid.

There is, of course, scope for both sides to extend their good runs with a draw at the Riazor, but Oltra is certainly not prepared to compromise with Michel's Rojiblancos.

He told Marca: "It should be a good game, with extra incentive for a big club that has started very well.

"They have clear ideas and are in good shape. They do everything well, both in defence and in attack, and they arrive having just beaten Real Madrid.

"But we are also doing well and are playing in front of our own fans.

"We're only thinking about Sevilla at the moment. And beyond that, we don't plan to roll over against anybody.

"We'll take them as they come, adding points each match, whether all three or just one, and we will give it our all in our usual style."

Michel is beginning to shape a squad that could restore Sevilla to their former glory.

The Andalusians won two UEFA Cups in the 2000s and consistently placed in the division's top five before slumping to a ninth-placed finish last season.

"The praise has been great, because it rewards the players for their hard work," the Sevilla boss told Marca.

"But we know that the adrenaline rush we felt after we beat Real Madrid will not carry through and help us win at Coruna.

"(That win) took a great deal out of us.

"We will need different tactics but will use the same players.

"We can't play the same way we did last week as this opponent can hit us on the counter.

"I will make tactical changes that get the best out of the players."
