Allegri: Milan under a lot of pressure

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri admitted he was disappointed that his side could only manage a goalless draw against Anderlecht.
After losing to Atalanta in their Serie A clash last weekend, AC Milan were hoping to bring some cheer to their fans by beating Anderlecht in their Champions League Group C fixture. However, Rossoneri attackers once again failed to hold their nerve, allowing the Belgian side to come away with a point.
With only one victory to their name this season, Allegri told uefa.com that a win over Anderlecht would have been an ideal morale boost for the team.
"This is not a good time for us, and the fans are asking us to win every game," he stated.
"After the restart we created some good chances but lacked that killer instinct. There is a lot of pressure on the team at the moment and a victory would have been a relief for us."
Nonetheless, the Milan boss insisted he was satisfied with his team's efforts and that the draw with Anderlecht represented an improvement for them.
"In the second half [Anderlecht] didn't have a single shot on target and not conceding represents a step forward for us. At the moment we have to take it day by day," Allegri said.
'In the end I am fairly satisfied. We didn't have a bad game, even though a victory would have been better for our confidence."
AC Milan return to domestic action with a visit to Udinese this weekend.
