The Inter captain is hoping that his side can bounce back from their 3-1 home loss to Roma a fortnight ago, and has taken the time to praise new signing Antonio Cassano
Javier Zanetti has issued a rallying cry ahead of Inter's trip to Torino on Sunday as they look to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Roma in the last round of matches.
Andrea Stramaccioni's side went down to goals from Alessandro Florenzi, Pablo Osvaldo and Marquinhos despite Antonio Cassano netting an equaliser just before half-time.
And the Argentina international, who has been with the club since 1995, was disappointed with the way his side performed at San Siro two weeks ago and he wants the Nerazzuri to react positively as they travel to Turin.
"I expect an interesting game," he told Tuttosport.
"Torino are a good team that are playing well. On Sunday we will definitely avenge the embarrassment we suffered at home to Roma."
The 39-year-old has also praised new signing Cassano after the former Milan striker moved from the red to the blue side of the city over the summer.
"Antonio is a very nice guy. He has fitted in well and is great fun, as well as obviously a great player.
"The strength of the team goes hand-in-hand with the cohesion that exists between the players. I have always said that the Inter dressing room was, and is, united."
