Nani switch to Zenit derailed by Man United winger's 'unreal' wage demands

Nani's ‘unreal’ wage demands have wrecked any chance of the Manchester United winger moving to Zenit St Petersburg this summer.
The Russian club’s director-general Maxim Mitrofanov claimed on Thursday that the deal had hit a brick wall.

No deal: Nani will not move because of his wage demands
Nani has yet to agree a new deal at Old Trafford after asking for £130,000 a week.
Earlier Mitrofanov had said: 'It's true we are negotiating for Nani and Moutinho, but Hulk and (Axel) Witsel were our top priorities.'
The Russian side splashed 90million euros on Hulk and Witsel but would not stretch further to accommodate the winger's request.
Nani has become increasingly disillusioned with life at United after failing to agree a new contract and finding himself outside Sir Alex Ferguson's preferred line-up.
Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are ahead of Nani in the pecking order on the wings, while the arrivals of Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa this summer have further shunted Nani away from the action.
The Portugal international was expected to sign a new deal this summer and cement his place as a key part of Ferguson's future plans.
