England embark on another World Cup campaign as captain Steven Gerrard admits it will be a miracle if the team triumph in Brazil in 2014.
Roy Hodgson’s team start the journey here in Moldova aware that no European side has ever won football’s top prize in North, Central or South America.
‘I’m realistic and honest,’ said Gerrard. ‘At the moment we’re not one of the favourites to win the World Cup.
