He is admired as an ambassador for style who can do no wrong. But it appears that even David Beckham is guilty of crimes against fashion on occasion.
The 37-year-old football legend was seen out in Santa Monica, Los Angeles on Thursday wearing white socks with his pool sandals.
The offending footwear that Becks was wearing for his trip to the supermarket was a pair of Adidas Adilette flip flops.
