Sergio Ramos hoping for perfect Spain send-off in China friendly

Sergio Ramos is looking forward to returning to his hometown of Seville for Spain's last warm-up game before Euro 2012 when they take on China this Sunday, and wants to use it to motivate himself and the team to win the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.

The Real Madrid man was born in Andalucia and started his career at Sevilla, emerging through the youth system and playing 49 times for their first team. He is hoping that his home crowd will come out in force to give Vicente del Bosque's men a fitting send-off and inspire the country to victory this summer.

"I want to send a greeting to all my countrymen," he said in a message to the fans who will attend the match. "We will feel the support from Seville before travelling to the Euros.

"It's a unique place and with all your love we can go to Poland and Ukraine motivated for the task ahead."

Spain's friendly against Jose Antonio Camacho's China at the Estadio de La Cartuja on Sunday kicks off at 22:00CET. They face Italy in their opening game of Euro 2012 on June 10.
