Too little, too late: Balotelli apologises to Song after his rash tackle in the first half of Sunday's clash
Balotelli last night issued an apology through his agent amid the backlash from his team-mates.
One City insider described how players are 'sick and tired' of Balotelli's conduct, while another said they don't trust him and want Mancini to sell him at the end of the season.
The fact that Mancini, who at the start of the season was determined to protect Balotelli, has seemingly lost patience with him has solidified the view among fellow players that he must go.
Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola, insisted the player wants to stay at the Etihad Stadium, saying: 'Mancini said he will be sold? I'm going to speak directly with Roberto and with the club, but I don't think they will really do it.'
